Meet in front of Alexis Baking Company near the colorful tables. Your tour guide will greet you and get you checked in before beginning the tasting. Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to tour start time.
Parking is recommended at the Second Street garage (entrance at Second and Brown St.); the upper levels of the garage offer all day parking.
Parking is available at nearby parking garages. Second Street Garage allows for free all day parking and is centrally located between the start and end point of the tour.
Please be sure and let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know 24 hours in advance, we can accommodate your needs.
Although not compulsory, tipping is expected and is an expression of satisfaction with the people who have assisted you throughout your tour. Although it may not be customary to you, it is of considerable significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels.
At the end of your tour, if you felt that your Rooted Fork Foodie Tour guide did an outstanding job, tipping is appreciated. The amount is entirely a personal preference, however as a guideline 15-25% of the cost of the tour, or $15-25 per person or is appropriate.
Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at most restaurant locations.
There are 4-5 stops that will include alcohol. Tastings adds up to approximately two (2) full size drinks. Accommodations can be made for those wishing to refrain from alcohol.
